Extremely overpriced. An apartment in Howell, Michigan should not be comparable to price of apartments in East Lansing, Ann Arbor or other major cities, Arbor Glen is either in the same price range or more. HORRIBLE MANAGEMENT. Jenny is not friendly whatsoever. She constantly does not speak nor even make eye contact with the residents. Maintenance is good and that is about it for this place. There are constant problems with theft, especially for ground-level apartments.

And, I did not experience this, but a friend did. He could not pay his rent, b/c he lost his job as many people in Michigan are experiencing, so he contacted Jenny, of course the deal she proposed was to "pay $1,600 to break his lease." He could not afford this, so he moved. Arbor Glen sent him to collections, which was as expected, however, they use the collections company "Hunter Warfield" that has a "F" ranking from the Michigan Better Business Bureau as well as the National Business Bureau and The Florida Bureau b/c that is where the company is based. Why would any decent company employ one that cannot meet the national government standards set by The Better Business Bureau'

I work for Village Green, the management company for the Glens at Rolling Ridge, and I'm really sorry that you feel that way. Most other responses on this site really enjoy living at this community! We have a new property manager, her name is Marki, and she is extremely friendly. If you still live at the community I recommend stopping in to meet her. Regarding a theft in your apartment, that has not been an on-going issue at the community. Please contact the office to assist you with an incident report. It is unfortunate that your friend lost his job, but as far as the lease abandonment fee goes we have to treat every resident equally regardless of circumstances. If you have any other concerns please contact the office and they will be willing to help you.
