Bad reviews still unfounded...

Years at this apartment: 2006 - 2007
I have lived in Pine Hill now for almost two years. While I can say that some of the stuff has been said is true, it is no where near as bad as portrayed. The new management is doing all they can to fix the buildings, former management did the equivalent of putting lipstick on a pig. The complaints about noise are nonsense. If you live in an apartment, especially with enclosed hallways, you are going to hear it!
Yes, maintenance is a little slow. There are only two mainenance men that have good workmanship, the one that lives on the premises only does enough to get the job done (sometimes), and nothing more. Two maintenance men and 200 apartments means things get done a bit slower- I've never had problems with getting them here in an emergency.
As for the ice/salting issue, the off property maintenance man was just here this morning salting the roadways, so I'm curious to know where that came from! I still like my apartment, I think I struck gold when I moved into it. I'm planning on renewing my lease in 9/08.
If this place is so bad, why does everyone wind up coming to live here' Parking still sucks, to the point where there is a sticker system being implemented. Surely it can't be as bad as all the reviews point out.
