I was apartment shopping and stopped in to check them out. Compared to others that I stopped at.... these were Disgusting!!! The model was rented out when we went... THANK GOD! We go to see a true apartment that was for rent and as soon as we walked in the door to the hall way , I felt like we were in a bad part of Detriot. The lights were flickering (it was dark and felt unsafe), There was a hole in the ceiling, The storage and washer/dryer area looked the getto. It all looked like something you would see in a scarey movie.

This is the kind of post that really gets me angry. I have lived in Pine Hill for a year and have put up with the rude comments people make about it. I live in the building where the model is, it is never rented out. There is only a two bedroom model. There are no one bedroom models because the apartments simply go too fast. There have been no holes in the ceilings in any of the buildings I have been in, and the only noise here comes from the yard work. The apartments are not ghetto, I myself am not from Michigan so the indoor hallways took time to get used to, but they are generally well lit and the buildings are older, but very clean. For people who are budget conscious and have a commute to think about, I highly recommend Pine Hill as a economical alternative to some of the other places in town. The good rating for the apartment parking is overrated. Almost all the buildings here are full, so parking after 5pm can be somewhat of a nightmare during the week.
