they look good when you're looking through them but once you move in you realize that things are cheap (ie. dishwasher, "wood" floors in kitchen etc). it wasn't thoroughly cleaned when we moved in-it was actually pretty gross and dirty. management is great it's just the place itself. the walls are thin and sometimes i can hear people talking next door or below us. i didn't think about it when we moved in but there is no balcony or patio where you can sit outside-a big bummer!! there are light on the streets but they shine into the bedrooms (stinks for summer when you want the windows open).
oh, don't bother renting an apartment with a fireplace....they are completely fake (not even a gas one)! i'm serious you can open it and put your hand in it while it's on. it's like an optical illusion. so don't let them fool you, don't pay extra for something that costs money to use but isn't real.

Our apartments are constructed with quality appliances/flooring etc. No apartment building is 0 sound proof. Its completely normal to be able to hear your neighbors, thats apartment living. When we were building we decided to have garages instead of a patio or balcony. Most people find that having a garage is much more valuable. In the summer time most of our residents like to grill in front of their garage, with a patio or balcony, that wouldn't be possible. I apologize to any residents who have the street lights shining in their windows, however they are there to provide light at night to enhance the security on the property. All of the apartments are thoroughly cleaned before a new resident moves in. If something was missed the office should have been notified so we could have taken care of the issue.
