OK though pricey - beware new management

The complex as a whole is nice, quiet, safe and secure. Kids can play in the streets and on the minuscule playground equipment without fear. I have walked the complex at ALL hours of the day and night and am completely safe. Surveillance cameras were installed late last year. Maintenance seems to be good (only needed two visits w/in 3yrs). Furnace filters were being replaced every 6 months w/o fail (not so sure w/new management). Appliances are the least expensive they can get away with and still call the complex luxury. Carpet in my unit has so many small pieces in odd places that even gentle vacuuming is pulling it apart. Unit was spotless when we moved in 3yrs ago. Noise between unit walls is good. Can only hear the neighbors when they're hanging pictures. All noise issues come from the floor/ceiling.
Notes: Management changed last year and the office staff is no longer pleasant and easy to work with. You call or stop in and are hit with bad attitude immediately. Caution for those with low noise tolerance. Make sure you get an upper unit period. You don't want to live below anyone and especially if they have animals and/or children. These are the two non-economic reasons we're leaving.
