Hearsay isn't exactly what you should go by when renting an apartment. I worked there, and lived on site, for a year and 1/2...and generally, if anyone knows the problems, its the onsite staff.
I don't work there anymore, so I am not sticking up for anyone. Every apartment community has its issues. When you stick 200 households on top of each other, you can't help it. The staff does its best to screen applicants to ensure everyone has good neighbors, but sometimes some bad ones slip through the cracks.
All in all, employee or not, I would recommend this property over any in Jackson. Anything on Springport Road is either old, overpriced, or trashy. Any other property, other than Cascade Ridge or maybe Westbay Club Apartments, isn't even worth visiting.
So, give the management a break, they are human too, and doing the best they can. At least they caught the drug dealer, and got them off the property!
