I unfortunately lived at Polo Club for one year, and I would not recommend living there unless you absolutely had to. There are only 2 good things about the place - they are very cheap (for good reason!) and there's ample closet space. Besides that, the place completely sucks. My apartment was described as "very cute!" by the leasing agents before I moved in, but instead, I found it to be extremely run-down and deteriorated. Every month, I had a new repair that needed to be made. My shower wall was completely crumbling, the shower head barely gave out any water, and the bathroom sink leaked constantly. The balcony and windows were very ghetto. And the worst thing of all was the carpet. It was filthy and there were clear cigarette burns everywhere! You would think that bad carpeting wouldn't be the most important thing, but if you have to look at it and come home to it EVERY SINGLE DAY, then it gets very depressing and annoying. I was seriously depressed to come home to my apartment every day. The neighbors are all friendly, but very low-income and not well mannered (to put it bluntly, very hick). The walls are so thin, I could constantly hear my neighbors screaming and arguing. And there were definitely broken down cars just taking up parking spots for long periods of time. Overall, it was a very depressing place to live. Finally, when my lease ended and I was able to leave the place, it took FOREVER to get my security deposit back!! I had to call constantly day after day to ask them for it. And every time, the leasing agents gave me really lame excuses as to why it was late. I highly do NOT recommend living at Polo Club Apartments!
