Overall I like this apartment, but there are some problems

Overall I like this apartment.
Here are the problems.
First, the people that you get to deal with at the office do not treat you with respect.
They are professional, but I always feel like they are talking down to me, and that annoys me for all the money I am paying to live here.
We had a fruit fly problem (an extreme infestation, I had them swarming all over my bathtub and dozens by the sink) and they never did anything about it.
Maybe this isn't something property managers are supposed to take care of, but we kept the apartment VERY clean, at all times.
We wern't the only ones who had this problem.
Also, the dishwasher will not wash your dishes very well.
Food is always left stuck to the dishes, and as well, we are not the only ones with this problem.
The dryer steams up the whole apartment.
They must not be insulated very well because your heating/cooling bills have been outragoues, in the 100-130/mo range for 1,000 square feet.
You get a lot of great features, like free tanning (although the bulbs are always very weak and hardley ever get changed; theres a 20 minute time limit, you can hardley get a decent tan from them, and they arnt ventilated so it gets VERY hot VERY fast.
no radios, sometimes no fan).
The pool is great, but most of the time has newspapers, beer cans, or dirt/sand all over the bottom.
The jacuzzi is nice, and huge.
The walls are nice and thick, I've rarely had a problem with hearing too much through them.
The internet always works and is very fast.
The power goes out about every month or so for a few minutes...
just annoying as I've slept in twice by accident because of it.
I've never had a safety issue and maintenance has been VERY helpful and cooperative.
The rooms are large and the bathrooms are nice.
The apartments have a great neutral/light colored color scheme.
The balconies are huge.
Visitor parking is terrible; you'll have your friends park down the hill and walk over.
