The community and apartment definitely weren't all they were hyped up to be.
What it comes down to is that it's simply a popular location to live- being close to campus, offering a number of "ammenities" and having the bus route run through campus.
The actual apartment wasn't anything to brag about- it actually sort of felt like an exaggerated dorm room...
you could definitely tell that it was "student housing."
The noise level was extremely high, but being a college community that's not all too surprising.
The hallways and buildings are often a bit dirty because of high traffic levels.
Visitor parking is a nightmare- unless you use your own car to save a spot for whoever you have coming out to visit.
The worst part of the whole experience was having to deal with the office and maintenance staff.
The people in the office were generally not that helpful and didn't seem to really care whether or not your needs were being met.
Whenever there was a problem with anything in the apartment, it usually took several trips to the office and even more visits from the maintenance staff to get the problem fixed.
Overall, if you're looking to live in a highly active community that's close to campus- where there's always some sort of party going on...
this place might be for you.
If not, keep looking!
