I moved into a one bedroom apartment at Knollwood only to discover that they did not clean the apartment after the last tenant. There was cat fur all over the carpet and furniture and fleas bouncing onto our feet by the dozens! I bought cans of bug spray but that didn't help much. I told the landlady and she assured us the bugs were just termites. Well, the "termites" were tiny and black and they ate me alive! I had to go to the hospital for treatment because of the hundered of flea bites. I have scars all over my body from that incident. Since the landlady didn't do anything about the fleas and the place was unfit to live in, I moved out after a week of torture. Knollwood Apartments thought it was their right to keep the security deposit.
I am a foreign student and had no one to turn to at that time.
It was a horrible experience and I hope no one will have to go through that Hell.
People at the front desk were nasty and condescending. They kept giving me the run around and no one would help me.

UPDATE:

Justice at last! Knollwood apartments is on it's way out. They have gotten rid of all their tenants for "renovations". It's a good thing too because only two weeks ago, a person was shot during a robbery at the apartment complex.
