Terrible Apartment Complex.

Years at this apartment: 2009 - 2009
I was very excited to live at Campus Court because it is within walking distance to campus, they were brand new, and from the outside it looked nice. I started having problems before I even moved in. My move in date kept getting pushed back because the apartment wasn't ready yet. The manager did give me the option of a free hotel room until I moved in and they offered to pay for storage. When I went to get my keys, they just gave us random keys and told us we had to figure out which keys belonged to which rooms and they said there was nothing they could do about that. The apartment wasn't clean when we moved in. The carpet had dirt stains from construction working in it, they said they would come clean our carpets and never did. The air conditioning, washer, and dryer didn't work when we moved in and took at least a week to two weeks to be fixed. When someone came to fix the air conditioning they had to put a hole through my wall and pull out the trim. Debris was left all over my room. Never came back to paint the wall and hammer in the trim. Months later after I complained more than once for someone to come fix it they finally did. We also had problems with mice when we moved in. I never saw a mouse but my roommates said that they did. The washer and dryer, we have had problems with throughout the year. When you want to wash your clothes in cold water, hot water comes out.
Additional Issues: There is no parking. If you have checked out the apartment in the summer it might look like there is tons of parking but that is because a lot of people went home for the summer. During the school year you are lucky to find a spot after 10 o'clock at night. Towing didn't even start until a few months after living there. A couple of my friends have been towed when they live at the complex and have parking stickers on their cars. Campus Court advertises that the apartments have real hardwood floors. It is obvious that they are not real hardwood floors. It is laminate flooring and if water touches them, you will get air bubbles. The freezer ruins your food. There is no way for you to adjust the temperature and it freezer burns all of your food. The pool is always crowded. You have to get to the pool by 10 or 11 in the morning to get a chair. There is always some kind of construction going on. The walls are paper thin, so you can hear anything that is going on in the house. It is impossible to get any sleep there. I am either waking up to landscaping, people partying (i know it is a college town but when its every night it is ridiculous), or construction. The staff is not helpful in any way. Anytime you have a question the answer is "I don't know". When you want to talk to a manager, they claim she is never there, when really she is but she just doesn't want to deal with people. Every time I ask them to call me back about a question I have, they never do. There is no storage at all in the apartments. My car has been damaged more then once while being parked there. The lighting outside is terrible. I never feel safe when I am walking to my place at night.
There is nothing good about this place except it saves you 300 dollars from buying a parking pass.
This place is an absolute JOKE!!!
