I have never had a worse experience living anywhere in Kalamazoo!

First off they pushed our move in date twice. At the end we were forced to move in LABOR DAY WEEKEND while they were still working on the building. That was THREE DAYS BEFORE SCHOOL STARTED!!!

When we arrived at the house they were still cleaning it. When we were moving in we tracked mud in on the carpets because of all the construction going on outside. (The mud spot is still probably there.)

The courtyard was never finished - there was mud there throughout the whole year. The amenities we were promised weren't available until 2 months into the lease. AND THEY WOULD NOT COMPENSATE US!

The units look nice, but looks can be deceiving...the quality is poor. You can hear through the walls. The water from the pipes came out brown sometimes. The downstairs to our four bedroom townhouse was NEVER heated because something was wrong with their heating system.

The service there is horrible too! We would call and tell the office that there were still things that needed to get fixed and they would just write it down and forget about us. It took them about 5 months to get a door attached in the kitchen to cover up the random washer and dryer that were there.

Then when it came time for us to renew our lease (if we wanted to) they bumped the rent up to $505 a month!!!!!!!! Usually when places want you to stay, they make a deal with you...instead campus court charges you $80.00 more a month.

The people in the office have no idea what's going on either. I just got off the phone with one of the people asking about the security deposit that I have yet to receive. I informed her that legally they were in the wrong since it had been 45 days since I moved out and I have not received the deposit - she said she knew but had nothing to say other than that. She also said that the whole security deposit (although all paid separate from each tenants) would be mailed to just one of us. (Why did I fill out a forwarding address then'!)

I have more that I could rant about, but if you want my advice DO NOT LIVE HERE!!!!!
