The single bedroom apartment I live in is nice and big and lots of extra amenties made it the best choice for me. Caution: parking IS a problem and be prepared for the office to tell you to "deal with it". Also, if you are moving in with specials (discounts) read ALL fine print because they'll try to cut short on days in the lease. They're pretty good about repairs but a couple of time they have "forgotten" so you might have to get on them about important things.
