Years at this apartment: 1993 - 2005
Candlewyck is like an aging star, but has aged well, compared to apartments of the same vintage around town... they *all* need work: new roofing, better-this, more-of-that, but Candlewyck is still the Benchmark that others compare themselves to, especially those constructed from 1971 to 1981, as these were. I have lived here three times over a 17 yr period. Nothing is ever perfect, but all things considered, if *your* expectations are reasonable and within the *norm* for this price range and age, size, and location of apartment community, i don't think you'd be horribly dissatisfied. Like anything, ask for it in writing, and caveat emptor, as they say!
