Candlewyck is a beautiful place to live! I've lived at Candlewyck for 3 years and never have had any problems with maintenance, office staff, neighbors, saftey, parking...nothing! I have voiced a few concerns to the office staff and they treated me with high respect. Its the best place with the best location! If you have a dog, you would love it hear! Theres many scenic places for you to walk your dog. They just did renovations in all the hallways! The hallways were in desperate need for new paint and carpet for many years. McKinley, the management company, just repainted and put brand new carpet in all of the hallways! It is so nice to come home and walk through the smell of a nice, new hallway! I love it here at Candlewyck and would recommend it to anyone trying to find a new apartment. Oh, and they give you LARGE rent credits if you refer someone to the community.

It's true that Crapplewyck has spent monet fixing the hallways - but not the hot water heaters, furnaces, balconies, lighting, parking, chimneys, etc. Only surface renovations have been made & I find it painful to come 'home' to this falling down dump.
