I lived at Candlewyck for almost 2 years. It was an okay place. I really liked how large our apartment was- 4 bdrms, 2 bath. We lived on the top floor, on the end so there wasn't ever really a problem with noisy neighbors. Now let me tell you why I would NOT recommend Candlewyck Apartments. The parking situation was horrible. For a 4 bdrm apartment, with 4 people on the lease we only got 2 parking stickers so 2 of us had to pay for garages (which were in poor condition). Plus, just because you have a parking sticker does not mean you'll ever find a parking spot. We spent lots of time driving around to find a spot to park- it was pretty crazy, and especially frustrating with groceries, school books, etc. We left Candlewyck because we had a leak in our living room ceiling that they would not fix, and after fighting with the staff for at least 4 months (they just put a tarp over the huge hole in the ceiling and put a bucket under it to catch the water after it rained), they let us get out of our lease. It was absurd. Living in an apartment should not be as stressful as it was living at Candlewyck!!
