The door to our apartment wasn't sealed so everytime the security door downstairs was opened, it rattled our door. We moved in and there was a bunch of trash on the balcony, a closet door was off the hinges and a drawer broken in the bathroom let alone the toilet was filthy. We had a spider infestation at one point. We broke our lease after only 8 months because we hated it so much, they screwed us on our security deposit. Making accusations of damage we didn't even do trying to make us pay over $600. The office staff at the beginning was decent but once we broke the lease and went in to try and understand the damage list, they were rude and disrespectful. Let alone they demand things that arn't even written up in the lease and still try to charge you for them. Parking wasn't that great. And they were anal about towing. Let alone there were police there a lot and we even had our window in the car smashed out and several things stolen. My overall experience at Candlewyck was horrible. I will never go back there and would never recommend it to anyone else. You can find much better for the same amount!!!
