I've lived here for over three years now. The neighborhood is wonderful: quiet and friendly. Also, excellent for walking. The manager and the maintenance staff are friendly and quick, even with an after-hours emergency. I even called them for help hooking up an appliance I bought on my own and they finished the whole thing while I was at work.

I find the set up--one story buildings, with parking directly outside your door--highly preferable to the usual apartment set up. I moved here from a third-story apartment and always feel grateful on grocery day. Also, having my own patio and patch of grass in front gives me a great sense of autonomy.

The main drawbacks of the complex, which I've found to be totally worthwhile sacrifices, are 1. no dishwasher in the kitchen, 2. heat is electric, which can be pricey in the winter, and 3. high mineral content in the water which makes the bathroom somewhat mildewy.
