My cousin moved into Country Ghetto in June of '03 and I moved two months later. We moved out in September of '03. It was THAT bad! We had a lower level apartment and it was stinky and musty and just plain gross. We had the nastiest black mold growing in our hall closet. Both my cousin and I are highly allergic to mold. Before I moved in, my cousin notified the landlords. They had a maintenance man come in and spray something in the closet one time. The mold never went away because the shower was leaking into the closet and the landlords refused to fix it. We broke our lease and moved out, and the landlords told my cousin he owed 9 months of rent. He filed a lawsuit against them, and they settled very quickly.
