They are a complete rip off. Just don't move. Not only they have lots of problems as mentioned in the other reviews, they may also rip you off by putting unexpected charges on your account when you move out. I have lived in many apartments across the country and have never seen a bad deal like Dover Hills.

Hello?- You think you can stay for a few days for free? This is America and nothing is free! Of course if you stay beyond your less you are going to be charged a prorated fee. You're lucky you didn't have to pay for another full month like you would have to do in a commercial lease. Agreed that carports are dangerously icy.

That was not my point. If you want to stay for TWO extra DAYS after the 30th or the 31st of a month, they charge you ONE FULL MONTH's RENT for those two DAYS stay. They do not pro-rate you out. So if you want to move out on September 2nd for example, you will have to pay for the whole month of September. That applies even if you give them say 2 month's notice about your move out, after the lease is over. That is ridiculous. I have lived in many apartments at various places and most places do pro-rate you out. They don't. That is my point. Nobody is asking anything for free. Don't write a comment if you do not have the basic mental ability to understand what is being written in the review.
