I have lived at Dover Hills for six months now and I am completely satisfied. When I moved in, the apartment was spotless. Everything works well. There's plenty of parking, and I never have problems with my neighbors.

Let me talk about the people living in my complex. There's a lot of students but there are also some families. A lot of the people living here are from the middle east/india. They are nice and quiet. some of the other people here are students and sometimes they play Guitar Hero too loud but it's never been enough of a problem for me to have to complain to them about. The hallway smells like yummy food sometimes which is also nice. There are never big dogs barking or running around upstairs which I LOVE! (I hate big dogs.)

Some people say that the rent is too high here. Well, the rent is a little higher than other places, but I think that it's nice enough to justify. Besides, you knew how much it cost before you signed a lease. Why are you complaining now' Seriously. I knew that I couldn't afford it with just my roommate so we found a third person, and now rent is even cheaper than that piece of trash place I lived at last year (COUGHthelandingCOUGH).

There's like Six good restaurants in walking distance! There's Shwarma House, Roma's Pizza, Cottage Inn, Big Burrito, 7-11, Drake Party Center, CD Warehouse, Checkers, Hungry Howies, and Saladays.

Here are the only problems I have with the place:
*There is only one sink, and not much counter space. This makes washing dishes and cooking hard.
*The dishwasher is kinda old.
*The water here is really bad. It's Kalamazoo city water so it's got all sorts of acids and formaldehydes and bleach in it. My dishes come out of the washer with a white dust on them, and after taking a shower my skin feels ridiculously dry. (But all the apartments in kalamazoo are like this)
*The carpets are REALLY NICE WHITE which makes me really scared that I'll spill grape juice on them or something.
*They're not too good at shoveling the snow out of the parking spaces. Although the sidewalk is cleared, I still get my shoes full of snow when I get in my car.
*The bus stop is SO FAR AWAY! Metro Transit moved it even further away this year. Expect a ten-minute walk.
