I moved here from Norton Shores, MI in June and I have nothing but great things to say about Drakes Pond. I had to move here on a Sunday and the office staff was so nice to meet me here when they were closed. There were a few minor things wrong with my apartment after I moved in and maintenance was here that day to fix it. I would definitely recommend Drakes Pond.

It appears your apartment was not ready for new tenants, you say "there were a few minor things wrong with my apartment after I moved in." When you move out, they will keep hundreds of dollars of your money. Also, what about your utility bills when you moved in? There are reports here of the management charging new arrivals with the bills for time the apartment was empty. Then they blame the problem on Consumers.

Management CAN NOT charge for electric and gas, that bill comes from Consumers Energy.....and have you ever considered that there are people with different views than you.....you assume that you are the only opinion that counts on this site. Some people like Drakes and some people like you don't...ok - you said your peace, now let them have a chance to share their opinion.

Just to clear a few things up on my review. Management never charged me with the bills for the time the apartment was empty. Also the "few minor things" wrong with my apartment were one light bulb was out and my toilet ran the second day I was there. I would definitely not say the apartment wasn't ready. It looked great when I moved in. I wished all my prior apartments would have looked to nice.
