Hidden costs, poor maintenace, mgmt bad?

Notice many of the short: Hey, this place is great, posts with no details. An office employee told me the property manager has staff log on and give good ratings. This is to keep Drake's Pond above a 50% yes rating. Take these suspicious ratings out, and almost 75% of tenants will say DP is a bad place to live.

The AIM corp that your email came from, is a apt rental company with dirty, nasty apts usually in the "gheto" of town. I have attempted to go thru aim before, and apt. after apt. year after year were filled with dirty, and stained carpets, broken glass in the windows, missing appliances, including one that was missing a toilet! and all were something out of a bad movie! If anyone has any doubts, I would dare you to go to the aim office and get 3 or 4 sets of keys. . you'll see! I have lived in Drakes pond for a year and a half. I love it. Absolutely no complaints! I find it highly suspicious that someone from the aim corp wrote a bad review acusing the office of setting up good reviews. If that were the case I'd expect to see the ratting around 75% or higher, right? This was a pathetic attempt to discourage people from out of town from moving in the nicest, hands down best equiped apt complex in Kalamazoo. The list of ammenities at Drakes pond goes on and on. . and they are all working, all the time! The office is really nice, they feed you breakfast !! everyday!! all my appliances work, If ever need maintence they advise me up to 48 hrs, but 3/4 times come same day. Nice, clean, professional employees, all of them. Mostly friendly residents. My kids are always welcomed at the pool. I love it. Well worth every penny.

Anyone who is writing a review on this website knows you can't see the e-mail address the review is coming from. Privacy is the key to being comfortable reviewing your experiences. I was sceptical as to whether Drakes Pond employees write their own reviews and now Im convinced! I've heard this community has turned into a dirty college nightmare, that's why I checked out this website. 100% legit comment, I doubt any of the others are!

The address at aim is an America Online email address. Local Mona is correct, I think she expalined well. Drake's Pond has been turned over to the college students. That explains the noise and pooly managed and maintained place. It is like a private dorm off campus. It's simple, they don't care!

If localmona and ajstewart would look at the from in the above post you will see what tshae44 is talking about. Yes AIM is a real rental company with not so nice apartments. It has nothing to do with AOL, where did you get that from?
