I re-signed my lease in May. Overall I think Drakes Pond is a nice place to live. Not as "posh" as many used to think - many new complexes are very compairable to Drakes Pond. Although many do not allow dogs, or only tiny, rat-dogs.
My main complaint has to do with the parking in front of my building - and that is only because numerous neighbors let visitors park in the "permit required" areas, with no consideration for the tenants who pay $$$ to live there. When the "Visitor Parking" areas are very near. (This is only an issue when I have multiple items to carry, ie:groceries, plus holding both large dogs).
I have never had a problem where I needed to call maintenance. I have found the office staff to be very friendly and helpful when I have questions.
They also knew at the time of me renewing my lease that I had 2 dogs, but have continued to only charge me for 1. (Saving me $30 a month).
