Drakes Pond

My overall experience with Drakes Pond was a pleasant one. The staff were always helpful and addressed my issues with fairly prompt response. Some things took longer than others but that is to be expected with a community of that size. The maint. staff were my favorite people. Very friendly and personable and no matter what my issue was they took care of it for me. There were quite a few maint. requests, but I guess that is to be expected with an apartment of that age. So as long as you are realistic about things, it's ok. My biggest issue was probably parking. In the year we were there I only once saw a non-permit holder being towed. Usually there were 1-4 cars taking up the spaces my family could have used. This got very frustrating for me, especially with two small children. The "playgroud" really needs some updating, it was in pretty sorry shape. The pools were nice, if you don't mind college activity. Overall my stay there was pleasant and I loved my apartment and location.
