I moved in here August 2007 and will be leaving at the end of June. At first, I didn't have any problems with this place with only a few exceptions. The only problems were that I could hear everyone in the stairwell coming up and down the stairs, people smoking in the buildings and stinking up the whole place, and the lighting in the parking lot being totally awful. Aside from not feeling very safe in the parking lot at night, I didn't have a huge issue with this place until last weekend. Someone pulled the fire alarm around 3am and when I called the emergency maintenance number to have someone come turn it off, they said someone would be here ASAP. The fire alarm was STILL going off continuously until a little before 10am. That's 7 hours of an alarm going off. Then it started going off again the next day in the afternoon, so I had to stay at a hotel for the night because this place was totally unlivable. When I called the leasing office to see why it took so long, they lied to my face and said that the maintenance guy had been there between 2-4am to fix it. I called them on their lies because the fire alarm didn't start going off until 3am, so why was he here trying to fix it at 2am'

But like I said, I didn't have a real problem with this place until that incident. Now I am very angry and can't wait to move out because of it. This apartment complex is one of the nicer ones close to campus, in my opinion. The rent is sort of high, so I would expect the leasing office to be more friendly and the maintenance workers to move a LOT more quickly than they do, but overall nothing else is wrong with this place considering it's a college apartment complex.

I would recommend this to any college student, but beware if you actually enjoy getting sleep on the weekend. I like sleeping with my window open, but I wasn't able to here because my downstairs neighbors were always outside on their patio smoking and screaming. Made it quite difficult to sleep. This place isn't THAT bad, but for the money you might be able to find something better and quieter. Also, the workout facilities they hype up are a joke.
