This place is so freaking noisy it's ridiculouss. It's basically like living in a house. You can hear the people next to you and below you talking, playing music, having sex. The bathroom fan in the apartment below me makes the whole floor vibrate and in the bathroom I can see through the wall into the next apartment. The management pretty much sucks. When you move in they are nice and everything but once you have problems, good luck getting them fixed. The rules are not enforced. Dogs run while and poop in the parking lot, there are always cars in the parking lot w/o tags. And towing is only enforced september through november. The windows are crap, unless you're lucky and get one of the few that have new windows. Even with your heat on the apartment won't warm up that much because of the draft. And on windy days it seems like the building is going to collapse. The only good thing is that you get a $30 discount for GPA and there is a bus stop nearby. If you love to party thurs-sun then this is a good place. The townhomes nextdoor are SO LOUD all weekend, every weekend. There has been vandalizm... my bf's roommates car got shot with a bb gun, my bike seat got stolen, my bf's antenna topper got stolen, there are bullet holes in every building and people leave their garbage everywhere and maint cleans up maybe once a week. Dogs are allowed here which means they bark constantly, and when one barks, they all bark. If you live anywhere near JW beware! She is the loudest person I've ever known. And her bf lives here, even though he is not on the lease and parks in my spot and since towing isnt enforced I can't do anything! I don't know how many complaints I've put in about them and the landlord wont kick them out! The landlord also does not enforce quiet hours. Basically if you want somewhere cheap, close to campus and you don't study or even need it quiet, this is a great place! Oh, and if you like to smell dog ---- everytime you go outside.
