I have lived at Lake Forest for 6 months now, and I really enjoy it here. It has a great location since I have to go to both East and Main campus for classes at Western and it is smack dab in the middle of the two. I love the layout of the place and the surroundings are gorgeous. We have had several things break, but the maintenance staff always came to fix whatever was broken within 24 hours of us reporting it. I also feel very safe here.

There have been a few things I have not enjoyed so far however. Even though the office staff tried quite hard to find my roommates and I a place to live, after we signed, their customer service and overall politeness disappeared. They are all very cold and rude in the office and I absolutely dread when I have to go deal with them. They have overcharged us for bills and rediculous fees several times now and it took them quite a while to figure it all out. Also, the water bill is outrageous (80 per month for one apartment). They also took our water bill out of our account without telling us or giving us any documentation of it. Also, we recently had neighbors move in above us with quite a large dog. It runs the length of the above apartment non-stop and is very loud, but there is absolutely nothing we can do about it.

Overall, I love the apartment complex. I just wish that the office staff were more pleasant to deal with.
