I've lived here for two years. My first year went by without incident, however, the second year has been terrible. The office frequently closed during running hours, we have had repeated maintenance problems without help, a lot of the office staff is rude, and the noise is ridiculous. Not only are the walls paper thin (to the point where in the bathrooms, you can hear people in the surrounding apartments urinating), but my neighbors are extremely loud and obnoxious. Our window started leaking last summer (Summer 2006) and didn't get fixed until April 2007. Maintenance staff repeatedly blew us off and never fixed it until we threatened a lawsuit...it was fixed later that day. The laundry facilities are terrible. The machines constantly break down and 1 out of the 4 dryers actually works. The heat is payed for, but it is kept ridiculously high (which I suppose is better than too cold). Our apartment averages 80 degrees in the winter. We have to keep the windows open to keep from suffocating. The driveway was terribly maintained durring the winter, it was never plowed or salted. My car started spinning on more than one occasion, trying to go down the hill into the street. It may seem like a good deal with them paying for internet and cable, but for the rent we pay, the apartment is DEFINITELY not worth it. I can't wait to move!
