I have no complaints whatsoever with Redwood Apartments. This year I stayed in the studio apartment building, but I have also lived in the two-bedrooms with a roommate for two years in 2005-2007. The apartment managers are friendly and eager to help in any way they can, and the maintenance crew is extremely prompt, usually taking care of any problem within an hour or two. On-site laundry facilities are free, and the studio apartments also offer free internet. During the winter Redwood Apartments does an EXCELLENT job of keeping the parking lots clear of snow and they salt all the sidewalks early in the morning everyday. They also communicate with all tenants on a month-by-month basis keeping us updated on rent payments, internet questions, and other special instructions. Each apartment has sand-filled walls, so you WON'T hear your neighbors!! Ralph and Carol are extremely flexible and have gone above and beyond what is expected of them to make my stay at Redwood a satisfactory one. Furthermore, for WMU students, West Campus is within very close walking-distance and Redwood is also on the bus route. For such an ideal location, the cost of rent per month is VERY reasonable. I would recommend this apartment complex to anyone.
