I am a new employee for the Skyrise and I thought I'd take the opportunity to tell you what my opinions are in my first few weeks.

The apartments are mostly 2 bedroom luxury apartments with a beautiful view of the city of Kalamazoo. There are many different layouts to choose from. The top floor (21st.) consists of beautiful penthouse style apartments that are unmatched in this town. The apartments are well maintained and in the rare instances maintenance concerns do arise, they are fixed very quickly and fixed correctly. I am impressed with the abilities of the maintenance staff here.

The management here has gone through a complete overhaul over the past couple of months. Although I do not know anything about the past management, I can guarentee the current management is respectful and helpful.

LOCATION: This building is located right near the heart of this city. The Kalamazoo Mall and many of the other attractions of our city are within walking distance. We are also located directly across from Bronson Hospital. There are some concerns about the noise of the city area, but due to the fact the Luxury apartments begin on the 16th floor, it is not much of a concern.

PARKING - There is an underground garage and the only entrance to the parking area is by a ramp with a garage door at its end. It is completely private parking for the Skyrise tenants.

COMMUNITY - The atmosphere around this community is friendly, peaceful, and repsectful. I get a sense of family around this complex.

I would suggest that you come see the apartments here for yourself. I am sure the staff would be happy to assist you.

On the low-incomed side we too have had the management overhaul at about the same time as your's and its been like a breath of fresh air. Speaking as a tenant of the lower floors, if you are anything like the new management on our side (and I suspect you are which I will elaborate on in a moment) I'm sure you'll be a most welcomed addition/change for the condo residents as well. From my standpoint I've noticed since your collective new arrivala a general absense of any troubles eminating from the higher floors/condos since about the time you would have taken position there. Your tenants even seem more inclined lately to drive more considarately when entering/exiting their carport and there is a very nice noticable absense of noise or disruption of any sort from the condos lately. We on our side barely know the condo folks are there now. On occasion I've even inadvertantly spoken to a condo tenant in passing and only realised afterwards that they even lived up there and have witnessed just the general improvement in attitude and consideration all around that seems to be coming from down from there and its really terrific and much appreciated by those of us on the lower floors. It certainly seems like things are looking up all around. Keep up the good work and Welcome to Skyrise 'from the other side'. :)
