I am a resident here at the Skyrise Luxuary Apts.

I am sure the other apts are wonderful, but ours has many issues. The staff attempts to handle them (and they are a wonderful staff), however, for the past 5 months that I have lived here, there is never a time I don't have an Issue.

You may think it is just me. However, the staff concurs with the fact these problems need to be fixed, they just can't fix them.

The only issue I do have with the mgt. is that their respones seem to be heartfelt, but I get the feeling they are telling me what I want to hear and not the truth. When I moved in they said the cable issues and elevators issues would be completed by the end of Sept.
They have not been completed as of this posting (Dec. 2007). The elevators we were told would then be both ready for use again before X-Mas for the holiday traffic. Not done yet. The cable, I have no idea where we are at on that. Everytime I ask, I get the same answer (any day now).

As I type this there is a rattle in the wall that would drive Gandhi nuts. They can do nothing about it, and I have a multi year lease to lock in the price. Have they made any attempt to refund me a portion of each month's rent because they haven't been able to make my stay LUXURY' NO. I think the least they could do, as each issue is unresolved, would be to recongnize that they have not provided me with the apt. they told me I was getting, and make some token gesture towards a decrease in the rent until it is resolved.

With all that rant, the location is wonderful, the views are the best in the area. The staff is friendly and the maintence is prompt responding to issues (no matter if they can fix them or not). I have no unkind words towards the staff. My issues are that I expected Luxury living and have not had one day of it yet.

I would recommond renting a place here, but if possible, staying a couple nights in the unit before committing. But, I doubt they would do that for you. I know had I noticed these problems I would NOT have rented this specfic unit.
