I have lived at JC for about a year now and I'm sure that for the price you could find a better place to live. First off, the management is pretty bad. They have gotten things under control now, but when we first moved in we had a lot of problems. First, almost all of our appliances needed to be worked on, but there was only 1 maintanence guy working so it would take a about a week to get service. Second, we were infested with ladybugs and the management wouldn't even come out and spray for them. Lastly, the internet is frequently down because they only have a limited number of connections. If they are all being used, you can't get on the web. Aside from the management problems, what really turns me off is how cheaply the place is built. The walls are PAPER THIN. I can here everything my roommate does and everything that goes on in other places of the house, even with 2 walls between. But really, what can you expect' They are building these houses with the expectation that students will live here, trash the place, then leave. If they built everything really well it would cost a ton to maintain. Anyways, for the price, you can definately find a better apartment.
