The apartment complex from hell!

The walls of Jefferson Commons apartment were paper thin, and the neighbors are in a constant state of obnoxious intoxication. I barely slept during the entire year that I lived there due to "macho" guys hooting and hollering across the parking lot.

God, am I glad I no longer live there.

That said, there were some good things:

Furnished
Utilities included in rent
Washer/Dryer included
Comfortable couch/chair

Unfortunately, the bad definitely outweighed the good:

Shoddy construction
Inconsiderate neighbors
Inconsistent pet policy (decided halfway through my lease that I could no longer have my cat)
Hideous view (concrete, concrete, concrete)
Flyers frequently attached to doorknob (a security hazard when out of town)
Cheap furniture
Overpriced
Incompetent staff (never delivered packages, causing them to be returned to sender after 10 days)
Dog poop everywhere!
Inadequate parking
Insane towing policy
High heating costs

This complex was clearly constructed on a cheap swampland. It would not surprise me if the land contains a certain "Erin Brockovich" quality that could endanger inhabitants.

Do yourself a favor, and RUN from Jefferson Commons!
