I have lived at the U-club for 5 months now, and this has been one hell of a 5 months. First off I must have gotten stuck in my parking spot on a daily basis because they plow the snow right under your cars. No one can come visit because a lot of people have visitors perm. living with them and they always take up visitor parking. The maintence man is very sweet and nice so thats one good thing. When we first moved, the carpet was filthy, the walls were dirty, the refrigerator wasn't clean nor the stove or ANYTHING else. The screen door was broken, my door wouldn't lock and my key wouldnt work. There are always parties, and there is a permanent smell of weed 24/7 thanks to the third floor boys.
Also if you get an end apartment the desks are really tiny, and my room is always messy because I never have enough room to store anything. But there aren't any bugs, my car has never been broken in to, our apartment has never been broken in to, and we can walk to classes. The staff is really friendly, and know me by name and I'm rarely in there. Plus as long as your visitors have a WMU parking sticker they can park across the street at schneider without getting towed.Those are the good things! Oh yeah and my room doesn't get heat so I'm always freezing! So bring extra blankets!
