Don't refer to any reviews prior 2007 or 2006 because these apartments have undergone new management in the past couple of years. Although it is old the apartments are gradually being renovated. Mine was updated prior to my move-in date with new carpet, new cabinets (kitchen and bathroom), ceramic tile flooring (kitchen and bathroom), new shower, dishwasher, newer fridge. On top of all the updates everything is included in rent except electricity and cable/internet. Plus heat is included which made my electric bills at most in the winter $20!!! Only downside is the outside appearance (ie. grass unkept, old exterior...), but all I care about is what the inside of my apartment looks like. Laundry facilities on the first floor of each building, but they aren't the greatest.

The management is excellent, very professional and responds to all phone calls promptly. When I moved in I had a problem with my fridge and the manager and maintenance guy brought me a newer fridge practically the next day.

Great location if you are going to Western, right on the bus route to campus!
