This place was terrible. Lived there for a short period of time, but I hated it.

The owner was a jerk, and treated you like you were stupid. When filling out paper work he would look at you retarded if you asked any questions. If you called with any questions or complaints he would talk down to you.

Its not in the safest area, from rumors I heard there was some cars and apartments broken into as well as claimed women abuse between Westchester Woods and Hidden Hills.

Whenever I would file a maintance call, the maintaince man would come without asking me if he was allowed to. I understand if there is an emergency they can, but otherwise they need to call ahead first. I dont feel comfortable having people in my apartment when I am not there or when I am alone, and the times I called on him he came when I wasn't home or when I was by myself.

I guess they are right when they say you get what you pay for. The apartment was dirt cheap, and heat was included. But my heater NEVER worked. The neighbor was so ridiculous with her music I had to hear it all the time even if I made complaint statements about it.


Then moving out he made every single excuse to keep my deposit money. And I cleaned that place 100%. He tells you that you are allowed to do certain things when you move in (example hang posters on your wall) but then when I moved out he said I was never allowed to do that and charged me for it.

The place is so unorganized, messy and dirty. If thats what your looking for in an apartment, by all means westchester woods is PERFECT for you. Otherwise keep looking.
