I am very happy with my stay at Western Pines. When we moved in the place had new carpet, a new dishwasher, and nice hardwood floors. It's a very good place to live if you want to meet alot of students! The office staff is great too!

Loud, noisey parties. Heavey roach and other infestations that never go away. Mold, leaks, you name it. Theft and vandalism is very high in the parking lots. Police come here frequently - usually more than one unit and everyone has guns extended. Can call in repairs until you're blue in the face. You might get lucky if it is around HUD's annual inspection. Office very unknowledgeable, inefficient, not customer oriented. Owned by Lynco Properties - avoid them. Income qualification is the only thing they have going for them. Units are dumpy, 30 years old, olive green, etc. Top dollar for bottom of the barrel. Again, income qualification the only thing they have going for them. They are on the a bus line - buses run every 90 minutes if on time. Management is not trustworthy. There are no students here, lots of kids if you are referring to kids as students.
