I recently moved from this complex and while my stay started out okay, it quickley became a horrible experience...and I consider myself to be a pretty easy-going person. It was advertised as a quiet, peaceful, and safe place to live...yeah right!! I would seriously advise anyone considering a move here to go elsewhere, unless of course constant break-ins, police raids, excessive noise at all hours, and random people that aren't even tenants hanging out in the hallways and laundry rooms is what you're looking for. The place is literally a drug dealers haven, the halls reak of marijuana smoke and they're drug deals occuring in the parking lots everyday. And don't even think the leasing staff will help you in any way. They used to have a manager who atually cared about the residents and was willing to help you, but I'm assuming even she couldn't deal with it anymore. Her replacement is awful, she's completely incompetent, lazy, has a terrible attitude, and very falsely thinks she is god's gift, and if you try to go above her, good luck. Her boss is arrogant, ignorant, and full of promises he will never follow through on. Do yourself a huge favor and spend your money somewhere else!

It sounds like you lived in my building! We just moved out, and I agree with everything you've commented on. It went downhill really quickly. We lived there from 2006 (the management was even better than '08!), and it was fine for the first couple years - the most we had to deal with was maybe 1-2 college student parties a year - and even those quit at a decent hour. It is in a nice setting - trees, ponds, nature trails....hopefully management can get things under control soon.

People just got to give the new managment a chance. It definately appears they are trying with all that they have to change things around. Yes, there still are some "junkies" that live there, but seriously, give them a chance. It's turning around very well!!

I don't know I'd have to agree that it's been a nighmare living at winchell way, lately. Cops have knocked on my door twice in the middle of the night looking for some random person. There are people screaming in the hallway, and my apartment often smells like smoke that's pouring through the vents. On several occasions there has been people honking in the parking lot at all hours of the night and people driving in, parking, and using the pool.

There has been in the past some things that went wrong with the complex as far as downhill goes with the last manager that was there. But some people don't know that she is gone now and I honestly have seen a MAJOR difference since she has been removed. Things have been alooooot better lately, and I think if you got to know the staff in the office now you would be pleased. The manager now has done a tremendous job since the other girl left (you have to think of the pre-existing issues that fell on her when the other girl left and what was left to her) But I have seen a biiiig difference. It is well on its way back to the way it used to be. I have been here for 4 years now and I am more happy now then ever before. They are doing and not just saying.
