Cleaned up a bit, but still a ghetto away from downtown.

Years at this apartment: 2006 - 2008
I lived here for two years (2006-2008). it seems that the crime problem was somewhat taken care of, as I never noticed too many incidents here. I'd seen the cops pull in and look for people a few times, but you get that with all complexes that rent to welfare minorities. Rent was cheap. Maintenance crew was pretty lazy about fixing our dishwasher. Eventually, we just left it and did them by hand. So nothing special.
The funny thing was, when my roommate decided to move closer to work, I would have had to pay $70 (me and my GF) to apply for a NEW apartment instead of staying in the old one, and at an outrageous price, costing almost $1000 to re-sign!! The manager of the place is a condescending black jerk who hates white people with jobs. I think they'd rather have section 8 and welfare crackheads living there as it's easy money. I ended up moving into a 900 sq. ft. apartment a few miles away, in a MUCH better neighborhood, for $99, with the first months' rent FREE, and NO application fee, at $579 a month, the same as we were paying for a much smaller ghetto apartment in Breton Court!!!
