They sued me for moving out!!

This place was a nightmare from the start. I had to keep my door locking ALL the time. People would just walk into your apt if you left it unlocked for one minute. I felt like I could be raped walking out to my car. I worried constantly about someone breaking into my car. The apartment was huge, so I was bummed with the nieghborhood. Cops were there ALL the time; they even had cops assigned to that complex to ride bikes around patrolling. Finally, my lease was almost over, so I personally delivered the 30 day notice. Then I moved and turned in the keys. Guess what happened! They tried to sue because I "didn?t give a 30 day notice." Well, luckily I kept a copy of it, so they dropped the suit. A few months later, guess what happened AGAIN!!! I was being sued in Probate Court because I "didn?t turn in the keys." I ended up negotiating to get back $100 of the $225 that they owed me.
