Other comments say problems...I say your fault!

I recently just moved (4 monthes ago) into Breton East with my fiance and our little puppy. So far I've loved the place. We are in a 780 sq foot apartment for what i consider cheap. There is enough cabnet space, a fridge, a dishwasher and a garbage disposal. Along with all this you can have 2 pets for free...and if you adopt from a shelter or humane society the apartment managers reimberse you on your rent by $100. They have a dog park (fenced in area) for the dogs to run free. They offer free obediance classes and free vaccinations. Included in this is a membership to a gym, weights and cardio. Tennis courts, indoor and outdoor pool. (although the outdoor pool is like a 5 min drive you get to use it for free and why the hell not). The doorways do not have an intercom...but to be honest i think those things are a pain anyways. I also have not heard of anyone having issues with safety...but I know for a fact that theres plenty of places to park and everything is pretty well lit. Still the best thing about the apartment is not this and how awesome the staff has been to me...but the fact that we get to paint the rooms. How many times have you been in an apartment and everything is white or off white and you knew with something extra it would make it feel like home' I think its awesome. I love the place. I also know that the outside isn't the most beautiful thing in the world...but inside its great! I would for sure recomend it to anyone and everyone...I've already begun to do so.

In regrads to the past comments I think it sucks that people have downrated the apartments because of personal problems. If you have lived there for 25 years...you obviously like the place...if you weren't having financial problems you'd probably still live there. I also think that if you can't pay rent, especially when in my mind its cheap (my fiance and I are both full time college students...if I say cheap take my word for it), then you should be kicked out. Also if you only had 2 months left on your lease and you were planning on moving... then you should have had no problem finding a place to go. And if you cannot clean up after your dog...then thats just nasty. You can claim to clean up after your dog as much as you can...but they obviously had enough reason to not renew your lease. These are personal problems. I cant believe people view it as the apartments fault. Another thing to consider is that these apartments can go down to $400 a month with the specials. You can't expect a five star place with that money...but for what I pay...it offers everything that I wanted and then some! For sure check them out!

You can claim to clean up after your dog as much as you can...but they obviously had enough reason to not renew your lease. This is a direct reference to my posting. If you want to think that this was a personal issue with me, feel free. I personally do night like living in a ghetto! Yes I moved there because it was cheap. However, that did not give management the right to treat me the way that they did, the entire time I was a resident. As for having reasons to not renew my lease, they did not! I was never late with my rent, ever. My rent was paid in full by the first of every month religiously! There were never any complaints from any residents in my building. As for the cleanup of doggie waste, when I inquired why I was being charged for infractions, the only answer I was given was, I was the only tenant in that particular section of the building that had a pet, which in itself was a lie. The only other tenant on our floor also had a dog. Which leads me to believe that it was a personal attack on me because management did not happen to agree with my lifestyle!

Excuse me, Mr. Collegiate. I guess when you're sitting in you living room, and someone you don't know walks right in and starts commenting on all the stuff you have, that is your fault for not locking your door. It's also your fault if you get sued because someone in the office didn't document the fact that you turned in your notice, keys, and forwarding address. You should have asked for a signed receipt for each of those items. It's also your fault if you walk down the stairs and get hit on by a homey with a brownbag 40. Geez, what were you thinking trying to come or go from the apartment you paid, not $400, $650 a month for. You know, I'm starting to suspect that all these wonderful endorsements may not be coming from actual residents!! If you lived there for any longer than 6 months, you would not be ringing the bells for this place!
