This place is terrible. I have lived there for an entire year, and couldn't wait to leave. My apartment was full of bugs and ants, even though I kept the place very clean. My ceiling was leaking and was never properly fixed...maintanance just painted over to cover the water marks. Something was definetly going on with my ceiling, but since it was damp, nothing was done. Most of the tenents did not properly watch their kids, so you couldn't even walk outside without being bombarded byattention-starved children following you around or even banging on you car windows as you pull into a parking spot. Also, don't rent an apartment on the lower level facing the parking lot...kids STARE into your apartment and you feel like you are in a fishbowl. One kid even tried to pee into our balcony. The area is terrible, and the cops are literally there every week. My fiance worked with a Kentwood cop, and he said this complex is one of the most responded to complex. The only bonus I can think of is the dog park. My building was also pretty quiet but we had a lot of families, so I don't know about the other buildings.
