The dog fence

If anyone who is currently living or working at Breton East knows about this story. I have lived at Breton East for just about a year (three more weeks left on my lease) at this apartment complex they have a dog park which is fenced in. However, it's been broken since the day I moved in. I've made 5 different requests for them to fix it! And not once did they respond to this until the day which my dog got out of the fence. There was another dog in the fence who saw something and went running... my dog followed suit. She got out (because both of the fence gates were broken) and we don't have her anymore. In my view, I moved in here because I didnt want my dog to always have to be leashed...hence the "safety" of a fenced in dog park. Well, after being given the run around by the office staff and the owner. I was told they were not going to do anything. So far I'm out the cost of my beloved family dog, my time away from work and family, the high costs to try to find her and the legal fees against Breton East.
This is not my only issue with them. You will find you'll also have problems with how they remove snow. Because they don't! The maintance men are friendly, but, they are not well trained in snow removal or stay on top of it. I fell twice this past winter and sprained my back on the ice. I'm not talking about a little bit of snow and ice, I'm talking about walking throuh 3 feet of snow and a couple of inches of ice on your front steps and walk ways, drive ways.
Also, another huge problem is the large amounts of dog poop all over their grounds!!! So if you have kids please be aware of this!! If you ever call the office about this when you see an offender who doesnt clean up, the office does nothing about it.
Also, this past summer the cops have been out at this apartment complex at least once a day. And 3 cars have been broken into, which one of those... the man who owns one of the cars got held up at knife point by 20 teens hiding behind one of the apartments.
If you want anything resolved with Group Five Managment, which owns Breton East Apartments you WILL have to take them to court! If you have any questions about what I had to say... please respond to this posting and I'll respond back.
