Serenity in an apartment

I have lived here for over three years with hardly any complaints. We lived in the back of the complex next to Bald Mountain State Park. Of course if you live closer to Lapeer Rd. it will be less expensive and more noisy.
The only reason why we are leaving is due to the lease. They do not offer a 6 month lease (we are changing jobs) and month to month is very expensive. Everything else is great!
Pros:
Very quiet
Maintenance workers are excellent
Affordable in comparison to other places
Crowd is a mix of professionals and families that are respectable
Enough Parking
Laundry in the apartment
Deer come out!
Friendly staff
Cons:
Not offering a 6 month lease- very expensive to do month to month
Clubhouse could use more than one treadmill, updated bikes, etc.
Naturally if you live on the first floor (like any apt. complex) you hear people above you.
During winter it does get chilly being in Michigan- window treatments help with lack of quality insulation.
