I had very bad experience with the staff working in Lake Orion Indian Lake Village!!!
First came when my wife and I wanted to move in. Everyone we talked to told us that we can move in on Saturday, the day we arrived from Chicago with full car of stuff. Well we got there and was told NO, have to wait till Monday... Wasn't easy to stay 2 nights in the motel and on Monday (originally my first work day) to start moving in.
In general, without begging on your knees, they don't move their as...!
And decisions to move out was increase of the rent after one year lease. Rent increase in the winter 2009, when the house market was really down compared to the time we moved in.
After returning the keys I got call next day with tones of questions why are we leaving (I was very honest). The last was that the lady told me that she has picture of the bend on the fridge doors... What' Everything was like we got it, no bends at all! I said I want to see it, not the picture but the door... Well lady called soon after that and said that they won't charge me (just seems that they were trying- show the picture).
And by the way the village is isolated from everywhere.
Don't recommend

Does anyone know how much on average rent goes up at the end of a lease. Also do they increase rent in mid lease?? I am retired on a fixed income & can not afford large increase's on signing a new lease every year.

This is a great Apartment community! If you had a bad experience it may be because you did not cover all your bases, nor did you deal with the staff respectfully, I have never lived in a better Complex, they are extremely reasonable and helpful as long as you are up front about your situation and expectations....In the future I would recommend doting your i's and crossing your t's more carefully. The apartments are approximately 3-5 miles North of I-75 which takes you everywhere fast, GREAT LOCATION!!!!!!!1

Sounds like AMSG is actually someone from the Lake Village staff. Actually my friend is also leaving the village right now. And the reason is the same - significant increase in rent and very impolite staff!
Well if somebody starts to yell at me when I twice in a month ask for the tennis court net installation... I don't think the person is very friendly.
Sorry village, BAD experience.
