I have been a resident here for going on two years, I have heard about the transition from hood to a nice place to live but yet have seen any improvement. The Manager ----- is not in the best interest of her residents but she is getting paid to tell everyone that she is doing her best and she will handle the situations at hand. I have not seen any improvement. I am currently looking into moving very soon and in my search of course I seen the pictures from arbor pointe or woodside meadows. They are a lie, no wood cabnets, no pool that works, no playground, not pet friendly, not kid safe, the neighbors are horriable,you will never have a place to park because the other residents have three to four cars, even with there parking passes. That would mean that they would have to inforce the issue that won't happen. I have had flea infested carpet, roaches from my neighbors, ant's for months, my flowers weed wacked multiple times, woke up from barking dogs from my neighbors and my kids. I have complained about things that need to be fixed or the problems that i have had but ----- doen't care she's getting paid.So if you decided to move here or even think about it I wouldn't. They will say what ever they need to get you to sign a lease because there leasing staff is paid commission to sell you on living here. you will hate it here.

Totally, I also live here...I have a skunk who has lived under our porch for months now and they haven't done nothing!! They totally suck when it comes to getting anything taken care of...I am very clean, but these townhomes..yuck! LOOK somewhere else please..and now a heat bill..this place is a joke..not to mention the bad area, I had to call the police because of people trying to break into my place in the middle of the nite, banging on my front and back door....GO SOMEWHERE ELSE...

Anyway, I have lived here for many years... and this place use to be rough, but since the current management took over about 2 years ago... this place is the best place to live in all of the south Lansing, west Lansing area. I have seen many people come and go and the ones that are complaining the most... are the ones that are typically part of the problem. Any problem I have taken to the manager since she has been here she has addressed and resolved - be it annoying rude neighbors or unauthorized vehicles without parking passes. All my friends and neighbors who live out here all love it and confirm what a quiet, peaceful, community this has become. Until this manager got here, I never let my children outside after 6 pm... and now my family enjoys summer nights sitting on our private patio. I haven't seen or witnessed any type of crime here practically since she has been managing. And I live up front near Waverly. Obviously you have a vendetta with management. You were probably evicted or got a violation notice from management. In other words most likely you are part of the problem and not part of the solution. Since she has been here, we go for walks outside after dark... and see her out walking almost every night late with her dog. We have never had a problem, seen a "crime" or felt uncomfortable at all. You can hear a pin drop from one side of this HUGE community to the other at night on a weekend out here. It is the most peaceful place in Lansing. I encourage ANYONE to contact the Lansing Police Department to confirm everything I write. They are rarely - if ever - out here on calls. Compare the available statistics on crime in Lansing and specifically south Lansing to this community. This is now one of the lowest crime areas if not "the" lowest crime areas in the entire South Lansing precinct. LPD will confirm this and so will the statistics. Please don't listen to disgruntled residents who have probably had run ins with the manager because they are the ones causing issues. This manager doesn't stand for riff-raff, lease violations or crime. And she is out here regularly at all hours of the day and night ensuring that we have a great place to live. She really cares for her residents and this community. I now LOVE it here. I love the staff, the environment, the atmosphere and my neighbors. They have made tons of improvements. New asphalt throughout, updated the fitness room with lots of new and great equipment, made a major overhaul/repair of the pool that was way overdue by past owners/managers, and are updating the units throughout. You can get upgraded units with NEW wood cabinets IF you choose that route and one is available. How do I know this? I have recommended a few of my families and friends to live out here and went through the leasing process with them. I recently renewed my lease. I am so impressed with the current manager that I have moved my Mother here. It is great!
