New Management is Horrible

I have lived here for almost 2 years and will be leaving.
The first year was a different management company, and I had no problems.
Now the new management company CLEARLY is not on top of things.
Last winter, they NEVER plowed.
We live in Michigan...you HAVE to plow.
My car was stuck multiple times.
I complained, nothing happened.
I complained about broken down cars that were in our lot for 6 months before they finally had them towed.
I referred a friend (dont know why), and their referral program is a bunch of BS.
I was expecting to get some money off my rent, which they promote, and it turns out you have to wait another month until your friend pays rent for another full month.
They have never sent me a letter, I had to call and ask about my own referral.
Ive left messages for the manager.
She's either on the other line or not in the office, and she doesn't return phone calls.
One of the girls who works in the office is extremely rude too.
The best thing about Briarcliffe is the amount of space you get for the money.
I was lucky to have a somewhat decent place compared to some of the other ones.
FYI-THEY look NOTHING like the model they show you!

I agree with this. Actually, you were being polite. This is one of the worst places to live. One week 3 cars got broken into early May 2009 and no notice was given to the residents. I only found about it because my neighbor's car got broken into the week after the string of break-ins. Amber, the manager, is RIDICULOUS! She's rude and arrogant. The other little workers are rude and don't know what they are doing. If you're a student - don't move here, move to Okemos! It may be little more expensive, but it's well worth it! Like they say, you do get what you pay for...
