I moved to Briarcliff a few months ago and I really like my townhome. Every time I've had to talk to the staff, they've been really nice and helpful. My townhome has all the stuff in it I asked for it to have and my neighbors are ok; pretty much what you'd expect when you rent at a place where you have neighbors all around you. I like the location, haven't had any problems yet and am not really sure why so many people seem pissed about living here.

I agree, i moved here back in January, I have a hard time understanding why some of these reviews are so hostile! so i thought i would give the opinion of someone on the other side of the fence, just to give briarcliffe a fair set of reviews. because usually the only people that write on here are the ones that hate it because of some outrageous circumstance. i LOVE it here! my townhome has the perfect amount of space for a great price, and i love the staff, they have been so helpful with every problem i have had thus far. as far as that snow removal stuff goes, i have been renting for about 10 years now, and with the amount of snow we recieved since ive been here, the have cleared it just as efficiently as any of the other places i have rented, but i guess im just a little more realistic/understanding than some of these other residents. in my renting experience, no property/staff member/situation has been perfect, so ya, briarcliffe may have a few minor issues/mix ups, but i have never lived somewhere that hasnt. all i know is the girls in that office are wonderful, always nice and helpful, to me at least. but from what im reading i guess i could totally understand why they wouldnt be so nice to these other people if they are dealing with the staff in any type of manner as they have on here, i wouldnt expect anyone to be kind when you they are being dealt with in such a way, but i also dont know everyones situation. i guess u get what you give? but i think they are great girls who really want to help. o and to address the "scam artists" comment, that is ridiculous! Haha, they are a business. all of our fees and things are outlined in the lease. dont make ignorant accusations if you aren't educated on the topic. naturally you would think you were being scammed if you didnt know the policy. i do recommend Briarcliffe. i think hese sites are just a way for people to vent. no not evreyone is going to have a pleasant experience at a complex, but everyone has different circumstances. i just hope that if you are reading these, you dont make decisions based on what these few sour residents have to say. personally i think you would love the place AND the friendly staff. and they take pets!! how awesome is that?! AND! there is a mcdonalds, BK, AND Tim hortons across the street! and of course my favorite drink stop, speedway, is on the corner. great location. =] -B.K.S.
