the apartments have paper thin walls, i can and have heard everything, i mean EVERYTHING that my neighbors do, at all hours.
the rent is on the high end considering the quality is not the greatest.
the amenities suck and all the extras come with a price tag.
if you enjoy privacy and peace and quiet stay away from canal 2.

I disagree with your post as I am resident here, the amenities that you talk about are far better then the other apts in the area. I very much enjoy privacy and peace and quiet and have no problems here. If you dont like it here then you will only find other apts even worse.

I agree. We've been considering moving back to the Ann Arbor/Ypsilanti area for our work, but there isn't an apartment to be found with the same number of amenities, square footage, and affordability. We are very happy here!
